We have a large team of administrative staff who support the Doctors and Nurses in delivering patients the best possible care. The team also help our patients access our services, in a friendly & professional manner, offering patients any help that they may require.
Our Doctors at the Surgery have a dedicated Secretarial team. By doing so our patients have a point of contact for any queries or questions that they may have & messages and tasks are dealt with efficiently and promptly.

Responsible for delivery of contractual requirements, managing data quality & practice information systems, in line with IG regulations.

Responsible for the human resource functions, ensuring safe recruitment practices & providing advice & guidance to Partners, Managers & Employees on policies, procedures & working practices . Identifying & assessing any training & developments needs for non clinical staff.

Responsible for providing effective management of the practice accounting system & ensuring health & safety & maintenance requirements for the premises are met.

Responsible for ensuring patient services are met & managing an effective & safe reception service for patients.
Registrars/GP training
We are also a Training Practice, which means we have a rotation of future GPs. Registrar Doctors are fully qualified Doctors with a degree in medicine, who are in their final stages of training to become a GP. They perform all the same roles in the practice as one of the GP Partners, but are mentored and supervised until they achieve their final qualification.

The surgery
Our aim is to provide the best possible care to our patients.
Previously located on Chapelgate, we moved to the purpose built Primary Care Centre in 2008. Since then we have improved our technology & increased our services to our patients.
